FREEPORT — In the past week, Friends Forever Humane Society has taken in two transports of dogs and puppies from Louisiana, as part of a networking effort with shelters in the South to help dogs waiting for forever homes ... In that case, FFHS put out a social media plea to send water back with the transporters to help people in need.
